Guest Instructors

Throughout the season we will have guest instructors who will come to the race school to provide their input and guidance throughout the day. These will be racers, riders, and professional instructors and will provide considerable added value to the days.

How will the BMB Junior Race School Run?

The BMB Junior Race school will focus on three key training objective:

  • Body Position “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes

  • Corner Entry “It’s all about the brakes

  • Corner Exit “On The Gas

The aim will be to focus the training into the morning of the track days, the afternoon will be used to allow the riders just practice what they have learnt.

Junior Novice and Junior Pro

The school will be run for both of these groups. The instructors will plan and give the training sessions for each group, and so providing the right level of training to ensure good rider progression.

Instructor Briefing

After riders briefing all juniors will be requested to go into the reception area for the instructor briefing. The aim of this initial brief will be introduce the instructors, explain what the training objective each session will be, and explain how the day will be run.

Morning Sessions

Each of the morning sessions will focus on one of the 3 key training objectives. After each of the first 3 sessions of the track day, the juniors will be requested to come into the reception area to be given some group feedback, and talk about what they need to be focussing on for the next session.

Whilst out on track, one of the instructors will be positioned on a corner where they can observe the riders, the remaining instructors will be out on track on the bikes. This is to encourage the riders to at least concentrate on the training objective for that one corner:

Afternoon Sessions

The afternoon sessions will be used purely for observation, all the instructors will be out on track with the classes and will be available to advise when requested and or required
